Media Technology MSc

Study during the COVID-19 virus outbreak

Due to the current COVID-19 virus outbreak, Leiden University has taken measures for the safety of its students and staff. Read about the Corona-virus policy of Leiden University.

The Media Technology MSc program will carry on its educational activities as much as possible. We are confident that the downsides of the shutdown for students will be limited, but we acknowledge that some negative effects may occur. For some of our courses, switching to online teaching provides even interesting new perspectives and experiences that will be explored.

In short:

  • Our courses will continue as under their original schedule. Class lectures will mainly be held via video systems. Students that participate in courses are updated about changes by the course lecturers.
  • Individual supervision of graduating students will continue, using video and other online tools, instead of physical meetings.

All other activities such as borrels, information events, and gatherings are postponed until further notice.

We wish all our students good health and safety and look forward to our new way of working with them. But mainly, we look forward to see them again in person after this situation ends.
