The Media Technology MSc program is giving extra attention to developing social skills and focus on diversity. Therefore, we organize on Tuesday, November 14 (10:00-17:00) a Social Skills lab for our first year students. This lab gets you involved in a one day training by an external coach. We expect you to attend.

Topics addressed include:
- Cultural bias: see what you don’t see
- Standing your ground: saying no
- Standing your ground: giving feedback

Here is a short description provided by the coach:

International Social Skills lab
Working together in an international environment, being it a project group or class, demands knowledge and social skills that surpass the regular social interaction among peers. Nothing is what it appears to be.
In this International Social Skills Lab you will learn some social basics to recognize the pitfalls and to stand your ground in an international environment. With a lot of practice and fun!

Kind regards,
Max, Edwin, Nanda and Maarten
