Very simple micro-robots, also known as Braitenberg vehicles that travel towards light and stop in total darkness.
The Velleman MK127 Microbug has two open chassis subminiature motors and adjustable light sensitivity for a very wide luminous intensity range. LED ‘eyes’ indicate driving direction, and it stops in total darkness. Power supply: 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries. Dimensions: 100 x 60mm. Download the manual.
