The Media Technology MSc programme of Leiden University is organized by the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (LIACS) and the Academy for Creative and Performing Arts. The LIACS institute is part of the Faculty of Science, which hosts many institutes and programmes concerned with natural sciences and mathematics. The day-to-day organisation of the Media Technology programme is done by the Media Technology office, which is run by the programme coordinator. See the contact page for more information.
The Academy for Creative and Performing Arts works in very close cooperation with the Royal Academy of Art and Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Between them, they organize the ArtScience BA programme. The Media Technology MSc programme cooperates very strongly with the ArtScience programme. We have a collaboration and student exchange program with the Computer Science in Media master's program of Furtwangen University in Germany. More information about studying abroad is available via the International Office's studying abroad page. The Media Technology MSc program is now a member of the Leonardo Affiliate Program. Leonardo is the International Society for the Arts, Sciences and Technology (ISAST). Leonardo/ISAST serves the international arts community by promoting and documenting work at the intersection of the arts, sciences, and technology, and by encouraging and stimulating collaboration between artists, scientists, and technologists.
For more information, also about other affiliates, see the Leonardo website.
