Three e-culture innovation distinctions awarded
On April 26, three separate projects from Media Technology group members were awarded a "Best Practices Rozet" by the Virtueel Platform organization. These distinctions are awarded as part of the campaign "Lintjesregen 2012", in recognition of being among the 35 most innovative and inspiring Dutch digital media products.
These three projects are:- Room Racers, by Media Technology student Lieven van Velthoven
- Globe4D, by Media Technology students Danica, Rick, Nico and Hanco
- Evolving Spark Network, by lecturer and researcher Edwin van der Heide
Virtueel Platform is the official sector-institute for e-culture, appointed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. Its mission is to stimulate and strengthen cultural innovation by sharing knowledge about e-culture and increasing its visibility and scope in The Netherlands.
