Human-Robot Personal Relationships Conference (June 23 & 24, Leiden)

The Media Technology program’s Maarten Lamers and Fons Verbeek organize the 3rd International Human-Robot Personal Relationships conference (HRPR 2010) in Leiden on June 23 and 24. It deals with all issues related to personal relationships between humans and robots: affective computing, ethics, therapeutic robots, artistic input, sociological issues, language issues, design. Participants come from all over the globe.

You are invited to attend!

The HRPR 2010 is a relatively small and intimate conference, with plenty of occasions to informally discuss the topic with international scientists. Also, many students from around the world will attend. This is partly due to the very low student registration fee of only 60 EURO.

Keynote speaker: Kerstin Dautenhahn (University of Hertfordshire, UK)
Invited speaker: Bernt Meerbeek (Philips Research, NL)
Invited artist: Edwin van der Heide (NL)

You can register here or read the detailed conference program.

Hope to see you at HRPR 2010!
