I talked to Wojtek Kowalczyk, who teaches the LIACS Neural Network course (6EC, level 500) that starts around September 8. He informed me that the course will be more about pattern recognition than just neural networks (in other words: it becomes more interesting!). It can be slightly mathematical, but will be OK for media technology students with some math knowledge.
