Well…I guess you are right Stijn…

Everyone had today 17h?
It seems I’ll have to cancel some appointments then smile
If you read this, please give me a quick reply (1-2 people is fine) to confirm that it’ today 17h.

I feel sorry for you Max!
We talked about when is S&H question hour in our group chat and we all thought that it’s after perceptualization class today.
17h today will be fine! Also right after perceptualization class (16h) seems fine too!

Best!

Thanks! (And no worries, I’m here anyway)
The new consensus on the app group seems to be today 4pm, right after Perceptualization.
That’s fixed now. Those who can only make 5pm, please get in touch with me asap, we’ll work something our for you individually.
All best! Max

And here the list of important terms––as discussed.

Then, finally, two more points to avoid confusion regarding the individual sessions:
- please post your printed homework a couple of days before you see me;
- you only have to print the assignments that you had to hand in (listed in previous post)—it’s just to save me the work of binding and printing 31x4 PDFs.

Good luck preparing!

Dear Max,

I was wondering where the individual sessions will be held exactly, in which room?

Thanks in advance.

Dear Wouter and all,

Good point, thanks––they take place in my LIACS office (128).
(sometimes I may relocate not to disturb my office mate Peter, but then there’s a note on the door)

Another point: some have asked whether they may use a dictionary during the exam. The answer is YES, but only a paper one. It will be checked by me during the exam according to university regulations.
It is not allowed to use any electronic devices (laptops, phones, tablets, etc)!

Dear all,

I hope you can breathe a bit now that the exam is over smile
This week I see some of you at the individual sessions in my office (128). Please make sure you have handed in a paper version of you homework in my pidge in the LIACS mail room.

Furthermore, please note that the exam results will be available in the third week of December. Unfortunately I cannot correct all of them before I come back from my yearly research period in the UK.

Kind wishes, Max

Dear all,

Merry Christmas!!
The exam grades are **nearly** there, but bear with me another couple of hours/days.
Sit back and relax now first. You’ll need the energy for the new semester to come smile

All best, Max

Dear all,

Please find below the exam grades. Congratulations to all who have passed.
Those who haven’t, don’t worry too much. I’ll get in touch with you for finding a date for the retake somewhere mid-january.

Have a great new year’s eve!

Dear Max,

The study sheet mentions that we need to register for the final work for SH through Forum. But I don’t see any links for registration here. What should we do?

Dear all,

Regarding the final assignment deadline: quite a few students have asked whether they can hand it in a bit after the 15th (next Sunday).
There are three considerations:
- I need all assignments handed in before my next course begins, so that is February 1st at the very latest;
- I prefer to have it a bit earlier, which is also better for yourself: it’s just a 12-hour assignment, so get it over with asap to free up your mind!
- students with a very solid reason (e.g. the semester project) can hand it in February 15th. Please send me an email if you need to use this exception.

All best!

Dear all,

Many thanks for all the nice final projects that I have already received (I expect a few more today!). I now have seen enough start grading, which I will do on a first-in-first-out basis. This means that if you were early handing it, you can expect to hear from me very soon; if you were among the later cohorts, it will still take a while.

All best, Max
